Welcome to my estate — to a house with a story that has already delighted hundreds of guests.
When my parents began building this house, they could never have imagined that so many wonderful people would one day fill it with their own memories. We once spent long summer evenings here with family and friends, celebrating our children’s births and weddings. Today, I invite you to experience the same moments of joy and peace on my property — even if we’ve never met.
That’s how my house earned the nickname “The House with a Story” — because it has never been just a tourist accommodation, but a place where the most beautiful memories are made.

I truly enjoy taking care of every guest — it’s something I genuinely love, even more than my “real” job. My goal is to give you the chance to create your own memories upon the foundations of mine. That sincere care for each guest is what sets me apart — from how you’ll feel to how comfortable and enjoyable your stay will be.
Everything you see and find here, as well as on Airbnb, Booking.com, and social media, was created with one simple thought — to make your stay beautiful.
I’ve also woven two important parts of my life into this place: my love for sculpture and cooking. Every guest has had the chance to taste my little culinary welcome surprises, and those interested in sculpture have learned some basic techniques, creating their own keepsakes during their stay.
The ceramic “letter” waiting for you upon arrival is handmade by me. When you hold it, I hope you feel warmth and connection — a reminder that, in some way, we’re forever linked.
I don’t have just one story from my guests — I have hundreds, many of which are written in their reviews. What I’m offering you is something they’ve already experienced. “The best place I’ve ever visited!!
As an active traveler I travel a lot and Anita’s place so far has been the best place I’ve ever visited. The house is impeccable. You have everything you need for a long or short stay. Squeaky clean, warm, cosy and very well decorated.
And the bedroom… Ah, I am going to miss that good night sleep on that fabulous mattress – if you want a good night sleep this is the place to be.
The yard is incredible! Everything is new, clean and functional. The centerpiece however is the Jacuzzi which feels amazing on a cold night under the stars.
And I leave the best for last. The host is INCREDIBLE!! Very friendly, helpful, open-minded, fun. Anita and her husband are such a lovely people we felt like we knew them for years.
Thank you for your hospitality and I hope we will be your guest again very, very soon!!”

The wooden cottage is like a dream and offers a variety of amenities we’ve tried: a private jacuzzi, a great barbecue and sun deck, swings on the balcony for an afternoon coffee, a firepit where we baked corn… It meant a lot to us that a cat who explored and enjoyed the large yard watching the birds and catching butterflies. There are a lot of details that make your stay fun while relaxing. Anita was very accommodating, made sure we had everything we needed, and had a very quick response to fix the hot tub to make the home’s enjoyment complete. The communication was great and all the compliments for the home and Anita.”

“The Green Road AirBnB was a gem. Very clean, small, yet much packed into the compact space. Perfect space for the two of us (and the neighbor’s cat who visited us outside). We only stayed a day, but I took a lovely afternoon nap on the hammock in the back yard, we had a meat/cheese/bread dinner out on the veranda, and we enjoyed a quiet and relaxing night in.
This was a very nice place to stay outside of Varazdin. It was very peaceful and quiet. The house was so clean! Everything we needed was in the kitchen, toaster oven, hot pot, coffee maker. There is a dishwasher and range, but we didn’t use them. The upstairs bedroom is spacious, and is adjacent to a very nice balcony.
Sometimes pictures exaggerate a house. This was even nicer than the pictures show. We felt very comfortable and snug in the house at night. We would have enjoyed an even longer stay.”

“This property is extremely comfortable for rest and relaxation and is equipped with all necessary facilities. It’s almost at the end of a dead end street, which guarantees peace and quiet. It is close to Varaždin, but the first shop is just a short walk to the next street. I would especially like to commend the very nicely decorated interior, dominated by white in combination with wooden structure, which gives this space a special charm and warmth. The hostess, who is especially friendly, is also very highly praised and does everything to help you create wonderful holiday memories.”
